Where we are

Ionview sits south-east of the clinic, around Kennedy Road between Eglinton and the rail corridor. We are north-west of it, on Lawrence Avenue East between Pharmacy and Warden.

The simplest route: head north on Kennedy Road, then west on Lawrence. If you shop at Kennedy Park Plaza or take your children to Ionview Public School, the clinic is about a ten minute drive from there. We are on the north side of Lawrence, across from Dixie Land Plaza.

Paying for treatment: CDCP, insurance, and no coverage

There are dentists closer to Topham Park than we are. Three things bring people here anyway.

If you are on the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)

We are an approved CDCP provider and submit claims to the plan directly. You pay only your co-payment at the time of the visit. CDCP is not a reimbursement programme, so you cannot pay in full and claim it back later, which is why it matters that your clinic is enrolled.

CDCP coverage by household income

Under $70,000100%Nothing
$70,000 to $79,99960%40%
$80,000 to $89,99940%60%

Exams, X-rays, cleanings, fillings, scaling and simple extractions need no pre-approval. Crowns, bridges, dentures and complex work do, and we handle that paperwork for you. Full details:

If you have private insurance

We bill most major plans directly, so you pay only the portion your plan does not cover. Bring your card to the first visit.

If you have no coverage at all

Tell us when you book. We quote the full cost before treatment starts, and larger cases can be paid in stages rather than all at once. Nothing gets added to the bill that you have not agreed to first.

Hours and same-day appointments

Body

Four evenings a week until 8 PM and a full Saturday. If you commute by transit, the evening hours mean you can come after work without taking the day off.

We hold time each day for urgent cases. If you call with pain, swelling or a broken tooth, we will usually see you the same day. If the day is full we will tell you on the phone rather than book you a week out and leave you in pain.
