If you study at U of T Scarborough but live off-campus toward Wexford,
Victoria Village or the Lawrence corridor, our Scarborough student
dental clinic is close to home rather than campus. We accept Studentcare
and the major plans, bill your insurance directly, and keep evening and
Saturday hours.
Studentcare and student plans, billed directly
As a U of T student, you have a dental plan through the student union, administered by Studentcare, unless you opted out. It is the same coverage whichever campus you attend.
We bill Studentcare directly, so you show your card and we submit the claim. You pay only what the plan does not cover, if anything.

Getting here from U of T Scarborough
About 20 minutes from campus, and closer if you live off-campus this way.
- By Car: From 1265 Military Trail, take Highway 401 west to the Warden or Victoria Park exit and head south to Lawrence Avenue East. About 20 minutes, 15 km. Parking at the clinic is free.
- By Bus (TTC): Take the 95A Sheppard west, then transfer to the 67A Pharmacy south toward Lawrence Avenue East. About 52 minutes door to door. If you live off-campus closer to the clinic, the trip is much shorter.
- By Bus (TTC Route 54 Lawrence East): The 54 Lawrence East runs the length of Lawrence and stops directly outside the clinic, useful if you are already in the central Scarborough area.

If your adjusted household income is under $90,000 and you do not have private dental insurance, you may qualify for the Canadian Dental Care Plan. We are an approved provider and submit the claim directly, so you pay only your co-payment.

Dr. Daniel Gibbs

Do you accept Studentcare?
Yes. Studentcare administers the U of T student union dental plan, and we bill it directly.
I'm a UTSC student but live off-campus. Is this convenient?
If you live in central or west Scarborough, toward Wexford, Victoria Village or the Lawrence corridor, we are likely closer to home than a clinic near campus.
Do you bill my insurance directly?
Yes, for Studentcare and the major plans. You pay only the portion your plan does not cover.
Do you accept the CDCP?

How do I get there from campus?
About 20 minutes by car via Highway 401, or by TTC take the 95 Sheppard and transfer to the 67 Pharmacy.
